Home of Hope

EVERY CHILD NEEDS A STABLE, NURTURING FAMILY TO THRIVE.

LSM’s biblically-based model provides orphaned or severely at-risk boys and girls with a permanent Christian family, complete with a married Haitian mother and father. These parents are chosen with the support of the local church who raise these children as their very own.

A HOME OF HOPE IS A PERMANENT FAMILY.

Homes of Hope are not orphanages. They are not institutions. They are not group homes. Within their permanent family, each child receives the love, spiritual guidance, and close parental relationships they need to feel safe and loved. The very same things we strive to provide for our own children.

These children do not age out of their family. Rather, after graduation, they continue with LSM to receive vocational (or University) training with business opportunities so that when they become self-sufficient adults, they can effectively break the cycle of desperation.

A NURTURING FAMILY IS JUST ONE PIECE. WE GO FURTHER.

Our unique continuum of care empowers a child by putting all the puzzle pieces together. Within their Home of Hope:

To truly create generational change, we believe it starts with a loving, permanent family. Then we go deeper with intentional support for each child as they grow, until they have an opportunity to reach their full, God-given potential.
