We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
This policy applies to all information received by Loving Shepherd Ministries, both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform”, includes the Loving Shepherd Ministries’ website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.
To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

An inspiring story about LSM’s early days from our founder, Ed Schwartz.
In Haiti, we operate 24 Homes of Hope, which are providing 270 vulnerable kids with the stability of a loving family, trauma recovery for mental wellbeing, practical education resources, an Impact Program to inspire personal stewardship and achievement, our Gospel Project, which provides an avenue for service and evangelism, vocational training and more – all of which set up our children for long-term success so they can bless their communities for Christ!
We also operate a concrete block and aggregate plant, which creates quality products while creating local jobs and supporting local families. When Haiti was struck by an earthquake in 2010, many deaths resulted from buildings and homes collapsing. Unfortunately, due to rampant poverty, Haitians must often improvise and cut corners – but the past has shown us that the cost of using weak blocks is more than monetary. Unlike our competitors in the region, we produce concrete blocks that meet building specifications here in the U.S. – saving not only money but lives. Best of all, profits are used to help vulnerable children in the region.
Since 2009, LSM has been working with vulnerable Ethiopian children and their single mothers to help them establish stable, thriving families. We operate a Family Preservation and business training ministry for single mothers in the rural area of Wolisso, as well as an urban ministry center for vulnerable families in Addis Ababa.
We also provide counseling, trauma recovery, educational opportunities, discipleship, and local church support to our single mothers – as well as their children. By investing in the mothers we serve at a deep heart level, we’re providing a more holistic solution that mere employment. And by investing deeply in the children we serve, we’re helping to equip this next generation to break long-term cycles of poverty and desperation!
Our USA Programs are designed to effectively meet the needs of foster and adoptive families in our local community and around the country. We also help equip the Church with tools to care for the vulnerable both locally and globally.
We provide:
- Free Adoption Resources for those considering adoption.
- Free counseling services for foster and adoptive families living in Northeast Indiana
- The LSM Respite Home for foster and adoptive families
- Educational opportunities for those wanting to learn more about helping vulnerable children
- The Gospel Project and other volunteer opportunities with LSM
- Educational Tours for groups of all ages to step in the footsteps of an orphan child
