O COME LET US ADORE HIM

by Doug Isch, LSM President

“O come let us adore Him, for He alone is worthy, Christ the Lord.” These words from a beloved hymn remind us in times of suffering that we have the greatest gift – our Savior!

Your generous support of LSM has allowed us to share the Gospel with children and families around the world. Our Christ-centered programs are transforming the lives of vulnerable children in Haiti, Ethiopia, and the United States, allowing them to reach their God-given potential and change their countries for Christ. We praise God for the generosity of our faithful supporters, who allow us to make an incredible impact for His glory.

Despite the chaos, unrest and economic turmoil in the countries we serve, we continue to thrive and grow each of our programs. The needs are great but the impact we are making in the lives of vulnerable children are truly making a life-changing difference. We rejoice that God has a good plan for every child we serve. We also thank God for your prayers and generous investment. Without you, there is simply no way we could reflect God’s love to children and families in such difficult places and point them to their Savior!

Would you prayerfully consider a financial gift to help more vulnerable children? May God richly bless you in the coming year as we praise Jesus for saving a world that needs Him.

Your support at year-end 2024 means so much and allows us to grow and deepen our work with the world’s most vulnerable children. This year, a generous donor will match all year-end giving up to a total of $100,000, meaning that your donation to LSM will be doubled!

From heartache to hope, Marc was an orphan rescued from being a child slave. Today, Marc is finding hope for his future through Jesus!

SAVIOR FOR THE WEARY

From the beginning, Marc faced challenges and heartache. His mom passed away giving birth to him prematurely and his first days were spent in an incubator fighting for his life. By age 3, he experienced trauma and devastation when an earthquake struck his village, and his home was destroyed. Soon after, Marc’s father was diagnosed with tuberculosis and passed away, leaving him an orphan. Within 4 years, Marc experienced the pain of never knowing his mother, seeing his father die, and losing the safety of his home.

As an orphan, with no one to love and protect him, he lived in extreme poverty and faced the reality of becoming a child slave – forced to work long days for another family.

The future seemed hopeless, but God intervened and led our LSM staff to find him on a dirt road in his remote village. From the beginning, Marc faced heartache after heartache, but God had a purpose for him. We are thankful to share the Gospel with him as he learns to “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and be constant in prayer.” (Romans 12:12).

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, Marc was rescued and joined a Home of Hope family! He has love and security from a caring dad and mom, and he attends school and church. We rejoice and give God the praise for your loving support which allows us to share the love of Jesus and bring hope to the world’s most vulnerable children. Thank you!
