Echo for Orphans

Loving Shepherd Ministries is mobilizing and training the Haitian church to care for orphans through the ECHO program.

LSM’s ECHO program effectively trains Haitian pastors to prepare their churches  how to think about and care for orphans, specifically those that have been taken into homes as child slaves. (These children are called restaveks.) To date, LSM has trained hundreds of pastors who have take the message of God’s heart for the orphan back to their home congregations.  More pastors are being trained each year.  The training consists of a 2-day seminar in various Haitian cities and then a 1-day follow up meeting approximately a month later.
