Updates on the Cancer Redemption Project

In late 2010, Zach and Jenny Bertsch joined with LSM to raise support for 6 Homes of Hope in Haiti. The time since then has been filled with planning, building, fundraising and interviewing children to come into the homes. Although a big undertaking, we are so thankful for their reach and their desire to use Zach’s cancer for something better.

Here, Ed Schwartz, LSM President, and Zach Bertsch talk about the project at the entrace to the campus near Les Cayes, Haiti.

And here’s a short clip of the kids as they were driving up to the Cancer Redemption site. These kids have seen so much tragedy in their short lives. Orphaned, impoverished, and desperate, these children didn’t have a future to speak of. But by God’s grace, their stories are going to end differently.
